Emily is an experienced and highly recommended osteopath who qualified with a Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost) from the renowned British School of Osteopathy in London. Extensive clinical experience was gained at the university clinics treating a variety of patients and musculoskeletal conditions.
Emily was awarded the highest grade for her dissertation which researched into the different treatment protocols in the treatment of patellofemoral knee syndrome.
Emily has a traditional osteopathic approach to treatment and uses gentle joint manipulation, soft tissue, stretching and articulatory techniques. Emily's post-graduate training has included medical acupuncture, kinesiology & standard taping, which she uses to compliment your osteopathic treatment where necessary.
Emily has a background in competitive rowing & running and has specialist experience treating patients with sports injuries, particularly rugby. Currently, the lead medical practitioner for a well-known rugby club, she provides pitch-side first aid and rehabiliation to the players.
Emily holds the highest qualification for pitch side first aid (ICIS) Immediate Care in Sports, awarded by the RFU. This included intensive training under the England Rugby medical team doctors. Emily also attends annual conferences at Arsenal FC & trains alongside the leading medical practitioners at championship level.
